Our Story
In 2021, a group of recent college graduates from California moved to Michigan with the vision of reaching students at the University of Michigan with the love of Christ.
For many of us, college was a transformative time. Jesus’ all-consuming call grabbed a hold of our hearts as we experienced the power of God’s word and the richness of a biblical community. It’s an experience we want to pass on to others so we plant churches in college towns!
At Anchor, you’ll find a wide range of people from those who have grown up in the church to those who are learning about Christianity for the first time. Regardless of your religious background, we want to welcome all of you here. Our mission is to create a community where college students can grow in their faith and build meaningful relationships with others. Join us for worship services, small group gatherings, and other events throughout the week!

Meet the Pastor
David Park & his wife, Catarina (or DP & Cata for short), both went to UC Berkeley for college, where they met Jesus (and each other). Since then, they’ve been passionate about mentoring and teaching college students to follow Jesus! On top of leading our local congregation in Ann Arbor, they serve as Network Staff for the Acts2 Network. You can find DP biking around to explore Ann Arbor, and Cata loves visiting local playgrounds with their two kiddos.

Meet the Team
By day, they are engineers, scientists, grad students, programmers, etc. But they all have stories of how their college days transformed them. And their common passion is to invite the next generation of college students to experience that same transformation through Jesus in their lives. Our staff team are all members of the Acts2 Network.
